MicroPrice Remote Backup
MicroPrice Technologies is now offering a Remote Backup Service, to replace or supplement your existing tape backup:
Service provided– Online remote backup of your server or other computer. Nightlyincremental backups are performed to keep the backup current. Files orfolders can be remotely restored as needed.
What are the benefits?– Unattended automatic online backups are completed daily. You don’thave to change tapes or check backup logs – we do all that for you.There is no maintenance or replacement cost for tape drives, tapes orbackup software. Because the backups are at another location there isbuilt-in disaster recovery protection.
Who can receive this service?– To receive this daily backup service you will need to have a “fulltime” Internet connection such as DSL, T-1, Road Runner, orother broadband connection.
What is the cost?– There is an initial account setup fee of $55.00 per server orcomputer. The monthly backup / storagecharges are based on total disk space allocation. Here are the monthly and annual plans:
